A career retrospective of Tim Burton's contributions to art and cinema was unveiled Tuesday night at New York's Museum of Modern Art. But if you're nowhere near New York, you can bring a little bit of the dark-and-beautiful Tim Burton style to your desk with GelaSkins.
The exhibit runs through April of 2010 and showcases movies like Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Batman and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with film concept artwork and also includes cool pieces from unrealized projects.
We're big fans of all that he does. But being oh-so-very far from MOMA, it's nice to know that we can still get in on the Tim Burton love with skins from GelaSkin for our iPhone and laptop. The collection of skins, called Tragic Toys for Girls and Boys, features twisted artwork from Burton's book The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy and Other Stories.
You can get skins for 15" Macs, 15.4" PCs or the iPhone in four different designs, all available for $15 to $30.
This is sure to get us psyched up for March 2010's Alice in Wonderland!
