Location: Terra Linda - San Rafael, California
My husband and I moved into our home about a year ago; he's a furniture designer/builder and I own a women's clothing boutique in San Francisco. Our house is an Eichler and has classic Mid Century Modern lines, but our personal style is more bohemian/eclectic, and I think we've done a good job at marrying the two styles.
Almost everything in our home was either made by us, is a flea market find or is something we've collected in our travels (although we do have a few IKEA pieces hanging around), but our home tells the story of our adventures around the globe and is a true reflection of who we are.
We love to entertain and have always gotten compliments on our home/style, and just recently at the urging of our friends, we decided to open a home furnishings boutique a block away from my boutique, Marmalade, called The Mason Jar, which features Pete's furniture as well as my recently-launched line of pillows made from recycled Kantha quilts and various other treasures we find in our travels.
