We've seen the last of our baby bathtub and we're glad of it. It did it's job but it wasn't pretty to look at. We only wish this was around when we needed it.
The Hoppop Bato is one stylish baby tub. From what we understand, the actual tub insert is removable from the colored outside shell (available in blue, lime green and fuchsia). The air between the tub insert and the outside shell acts as an insulator keeping bath water warmer longer. You can now buy it here in the U.S. here and elsewhere.

Shaw's Original Fir...
$50 seems a bit steep. What happened to using the kitchen sink?
But it *is* a super cute tub and I guess the outer shell could be used for toy storage or something once the tub is outgrown.
I totally would have bought that if it would have been available before my daughter was born. I, like you, am so so happy to get rid of the baby tub.
cute looking, but too pricey for a baby tub. even in smaller homes and most apartments the baby tub isn't something one leaves out on display anyway.
I vote: go with a cheaper baby tub (or kitchen sink) for bathing.
Don't think I've ever had a problem with the bath water not staying warm enough for the duration of my baby's bath???
its too cold to bathe our infant in the kitchen. we use the bathroom heater to warm the room first. so kitchen sink isnt an option for us. i love this idea as it could be used as water play or swim time durring the summer. then toss the toys in once they out grow it. unfortunatly its a little large for any counter space in our house...perhaps i could put it into the existing tub??!?!?
bath hammock... like 7 bucks at walmart and so slim its easy to store.
Looks great, but we're getting by so far with the sink and the big tub/shower. She just has to coordinate with mommy!
It is gorgeous but I agree with most of the other comments about the steep price. Our 8 month old has been enjoying the inflatable Duck tub from Munchkin for the past 3 months. Great buy from Target. I've since bought two others for baby shower presents!
Aw, I love that. FIfty dollars is a bit pricey, but my almost-four-month-old *loves* his bath and will happily stay in the water as long as we let him, so we give him one every night, followed by a last bottle and bed. We've been using the standard blue plastic baby tub placed into the adult tub (he's a kicker). We can't bathe him in the kitchen sink because our house is large and drafty and it's just too cold. But I don't think that tub would fit in our bathroom and I like the idea of placing a baby tub in the larger tub; both parents and my stepson can help out. We're going to buy the Munchkin duck tub soon.
It's the best looking tub I've seen but it looks like it would just take up too much space.
Hoppop has lots of other really cute things-- like their little potties.
It's here with other nice bath stuff:
