I'm convinced that I need to move out of the midwest, having seen that anything kind of nice is way overpriced because of the rarity in these parks. The availability of luxurious finds and bargain of some of these items I've seen tell me LA and NY is the place to go, obviously.
Yes... Move to NYC and LA to save money... Makes perfect sense. :)
I'd like to find more buyers for my work like this in here in the Great Lakes region. Upcycling furniture for a living would be my dream job.
@SABRINATHEDESTROYER Ha, oops, I didn't factor in the cost of living. Well, I could also live in a tent with really great furniture.
@SABRINATHEDESTROYER I was more commenting on how many great pieces there are available on CL and KRRB, rather than or in addition to the cost of them. I've lived in both NYC and LA and I remember being able to furnish my apartment for much less than what I had to pay in Chicago, although the exact reason for this I don't know why. Had to move to Chicago for school.
@MOREADVENTUROUS - I get it, the availability is a lot better, but as somebody currently paying NYC rent, I just had to poke fun.
