Would you believe it, but we're working this month on publishing a calendar of the hottest movers in New York City.
We have a great photographer and the movers all lined up, but we're still wanting a good reference for a calendar printing company. Anyone got one?
Additional note: we were thinking of one of those online printing companies who do this sort of thing all the time... And yes hjhjkh, we know it's January already, but we'll only lose one month and the pics will be good anyway.

P2 - great AT After Dark comment!
P(too): ask them if they can come over and help you move your bed. ;-) And maybe some other large pieces of furniture.
(It's after 9 p.m. EST right? Officially AT After Dark)
Wow. If the whole calendar looks like that I'd be seriously tempted to move.

Since I have great rent-stabilized apt, not moving anytime soon -- but I'll by the calendar!
Ptoo -- hang in there -- AT is off to a good start this year, who knows what surprises Maxwell has in store! (eg, hot construction workers, painters, and of course -- plumbers.)
;-)
How did I know P2 would be the first to respond? :)
a calendar for 2006? um, a little late to that party I think
this is INCREDIBLY vague because I left my rolodex in the states, but I used to use this realllly good really cheap printer in long island city.
Here's what I can tell you: I haven't been in NYC for a few months, but when last I was there, they were advertising in the village voice and their advertisement had coupons. they are one stop out of the city in Long Island city and there is no sign once you get there, it is a bit frightening, down an alley on the 5th floor of an old factory and there are like 5 million chinese people working there and usually 1 person who speaks english.... usually.
AND they are amazing. for instance, I had 6 photos blown up to 20"-30" and printed on canvas for $75.00 (with coupon). They did a great job, 4 of the pics were photo booth shots of my boyfriend and I (realllly small pics made really big, no quality lost) and the other 2 were digital shots that I emailed to them.
Sorry that I can't remember the name. it MAY have been ABC printing.
wait – a calendar filled with movers? does that mean that the 1st of the month is actually going to show up on the 3rd????
Try the new iLife06 with iPhoto you can print calendars (at the keynote yesterday they looked good).
I don't care when the calendar shows up - I'm in. Good looking is good looking.
P(too) - you should do a column.
okay then. if you must. try lulu.com.
An art friend had some work done by psprint.com. The work was nice and the prices seemed reasonable. They also will send samples of their work upon request.
