If ever you want to hear two sides to a holiday movie review, just ask our very own editor Beth Z. and her boyfriend Adam. Over the break, they saw Sherlock Holmes (Beth was bored, Adam was thoroughly entertained); Avatar (Beth thought it was great in 3D, Adam fell asleep); and yes, It's Complicated (Beth used the word 'cute', Adam grimaced and offered this: "It's what you expect a Nancy Meyer film to be.") So what does that entail exactly? Beautiful, gorgeous sets. If you saw the movie and can't stop thinking about Jane's Santa Barbara home, look no further than SDSA's Hot Off The Set feature of It's Complicated.
Normally, our own On The Set features are screencaps from the films with some commentary and little to no sourcing for specific items; so we're very excited to share this article with you. Why? Because the fine folks at SDSA sat down with set decorator Beth Rubino who shares some of her sources for furniture and decor used in both Jane's living and dining rooms.
Head on over to the Hot Off The Set: It's Complicated to get the scoop on the sets!
