The Jumping Jack Computer Loft Bed, $2,208.75, morphs a computer station, loft bed, trundle and storage area into one tidy little wooden Borg Cube. Built with wood which has sustainably harvested and grown.
Talk about getting more bang for your buck.
What say ye?

Shaw's Original Fir...
It looks useful, but I think it's ugly.
For space-saving in an urban dwelling, yes, this is a good idea, but I personally would prefer a different finish. The price tag is also too much for me. I bet you could find a similar item for much less. Or hire a master cabinet maker to make one.
As a designer of multifunctional children's furniture I give this morphing bunkbed an "A" for functionality, a "B" for good use of space and a "C" for esthetics & style. I would make it more refined, stained a color and cap off the screws. If a Dad built it for his child, OK, but for appeal to the public, I offer my cabinetmaker to make you one.
A great space saver I agree, but I hate not having a place to put my knees. Kids have bad enough ergonomical habits as it is, this will do nothing to help.
It kind of looks like the keyboard shelf rolls out to become the desk. So it shouldn't kill a kid's knees unless he's a giant lanky teenager, in which case this might be too small anyway.
On the other hand, I bet many a lazy kid will just pull out the underbed and sit on that cross-legged. I miss the kidlike ability to sit however the hell you feel like.
I love the idea, not so wild about the look.
Great concept, but does it need to be so unattractive?
I have the same comment as everyone else. GREAT concept. The look of it? Meh....
Same as all, great concept, poor looks. I also think the big price tag might be due to the fact that this is sold in separate pieces to customize your own bed..?
It does look useful but is kind of ugly. But like others who have posted what makes it a "Not" for me is that there would be no where to put your legs when you are working at the computer.
