It's not hot - but not because it's lazy (I've got no problem with lazy!), but because it's CLUTTER.
Seems totally impractical, too - who has all of their plants in one spot?
Yep, plus it's not attractive at all.
If I had enough house plants to make this feel worthwhile, I'd have to be refilling the reservoir as often as I'd otherwise be watering.
IMO, this is "hot" b/c it's a great way to keep your indoor plants watered when you take a long vacation. Sure, it requires you to put all your plants in one spot, but that's a minor inconvenience for trip prep.
You have a 65 feet work of hose, so plants would not need to be grouped that closely. It would also allow you to hide the admitted ugly reservoir.
However, it does seem somewhat useful for vacations (which seems to be it's designed purpose as described on the web page).
i agree with ami. that is exactly what i was thinking about. although, that doesn't help with my extremely fat cat who is on a DIET.
