I guess not. They could be cool, like almost everything, in the right setting, but as pictured, they do nothing for me.

When design takes priority, the result is often strange closets.
i like this look. i have one of ikea's alseda floor seats in my living room and it adds a nice touch. however, i do admit that it's more comfortable (and cute) topped with a nice throw pillow.
Hard to tell without actually feeling them and sitting on them. Looks like they'd stack nicely, though, when not in use.
They don't look comfortable ... and they seem a little useless at that height. In other words, if they were 6-8" high, it would seem more useful, but for the 3-4" that these appear to be, you might as well sit on the floor.
i'm sure they sell covers for them. or soon will.
