A pair of these would look great over a kitchen bar....I wonder if the fringe tassels are thick enough to cast a cool shadow on the wall.

While interesting, the problem with contemporary lighting is that, this is the place changing quickly in design and tends to look dated the quickest.

Stick with the classics.
