Oh God...the implications of this are so...1984 Big Brother. It creeps me out in a big way.
Before I had a child, I thought cribs were kinda creepy with all the bars across them, like a mini prison. But this is beyond weird. It sorta resembles an old TV console.
line a few of these up and you'd have a japanese pod hotel.

the "intelligence" concepts may be weird and extreme, but i have to say, i think it's still a pretty nice looking crib.
It's a Skinner box! Except without the useful features, like heat for cold climates that keep you from having to wrap the baby up in lots of clothing that encourages diaper rash. With real climate control (and without the video, which is sort of creepy) it could be handy, though. Admittedly I prefer plexiglass to bars, which is why we bought the Community Playthings crib.
