I like it a lot. Definately not my style but something I can appreciate. It's seems like a very fun place to be. Makes me wonder what the owners are like.
I like everything but the pink fabric. It seems out of place to me.
I love the living room pictured above. It reminds me of eating out at some funky bohemian resteraunt. And as an added bonus for those trying to loose weight, with all the color to distract you, food probably won't be so exciting.
I totally agree with steven77's comments. Who are the owners, and what does the rest of their space look like?
The photo credit links you the website. This was featured in the April issue of Canadian House & Home. The woman is an interior designer heavily influenced by trips to India. The article featured her home and that of an editor friend with similar color/style. The collab'd on the editors house.
It is pretty awesome.
Love that teal wall. Love it. Probably because I have one in that same color family. The rest of the room is a little too colorful for my tastes, but it still looks good. Like other commenters, it makes me wonder what the owners are like.
I think my favorite part is the "tiled" table. I wonder if it was a DIY?
You could never walk into a room like this and feel sad.
can't. focus.
This is cheery, bright and well done imo
All of those colors make me so happy. I'm going to stare at this picture all winter long.
LOVE. I want it.
The turquoise-and-apple-green wall thing needs to die a quiet death. Enough already.
you're missing the point. these are not the only colorful areas in her house. have a look at the photos. there's much more interesting wall ideas going on in the rest of the house.
this woman painted her house the way she likes it. not to fit a design thing.
Visual overload. Nothing bad about any individual component, but it just looks garish and "crafty-creative" mashed together.
The shapes, the symmetry, the finishes, the details all have something interesting going one, but sometimes more is just too much.
going "on", not "one". oops.
I would like it if it were just a little... less. As it is, my first thought was, "Ow, my eyes!"
Wow! I'm not a big fan of that shade of green, but I love the turquoise, red, and pink
Wow, looks like the dining room in clown college. No sorry not for some one who needs home to be a place of peace and renewal. However, I do respect anyone who can live with that, all kidding aside with the "clown" description, it was just my initial reaction. Still to busy for some of us and maybe a tad over the top.
I think it might be the floor that's a bit much.
