Surely, someone's figured it out by now. One of the sweetest places to dedicate an office workspace is right underneath a bustling staircase, turning a would-be unused part of your home into a friendly computing environment for family and friends to check mail without feeling like they're intruding on someone's personal space. While it's a matter of architecture to whether or not you can actually pull it off, we thought we'd run by the good ol' golden question...
From nycGraeme's Flickr, you can see how a comfortable office space can be beautifully incorporated into a living room if done correctly. The hardest part will probably be convincing oneself to go sleep at night - at least for us, since we're night owls for the most part. What about you, readers, care to share any staircase computing stories?

I love any solution that fully utilizes a space.
Who would consider this a not? If you a few square feet of space why wouldn't you utilize it?
this question really depends on the space. if the house/apartment is a crowded full house then this is really not a good idea. however, if it consist of no more than 3 residents then its a great idea to use this magnificent space especially in urban homes.
