Only good if you like reading books laying in that exact position ... or if you're four feet tall.
I voted 'hot' because I like the idea, but I agree . . . it does look uncomfy . . . a little better research will lead to a great piece!!
Yeah, this dual design succeeded in reducing the functionality of both the bookcase and the lounge chair. Perfect, though, if you're a pre-teen AI robot child like is pictured in the photo.
If they'd used an actual person perhaps it would have won me over but using a skeleton only makes it look as if it was never intended to be taken seriously.
It takes up a lot of space and doesn't hold that much. Looks uncomfortable too.
ditto on all of the above. colors are hot, though.
I think it looks pretty cool if you have some space to burn. Not exactly efficient for apartment living, but I've seen some huge apartments that I can only dream about...
I doubt I'd ever sit on something that hard (yuck) but with a pillow, a cat or dog would LOVE that spot. :)
I wish the middle curve went flat. I wouldn't use it to lounge but put a cool lamp on it and a big, pretty mirror above it.
Love the colors, love the idea.
It's like a window seat, with no window required! I like it - great for your tiny library, with no room for chairs. Might be better not in pink though...
I think it looks cool and is a cool concept. Not big on the colors, and I'm pretty sure it would be too uncomfortable.
Great idea, too bad it is ugly and looks not-terribly-comfortable. I would be all over a more attractive and comfortable looking version of this though!
I'd rather see a flat connecting bench (with storage below) and standard cushions/pillows. And the hot pink is just ugly.
I just want the reading skeleton.
i like it but with some modification. first the color. second the length. last but not least, add a desk to it. the last one is optional.
I'm guessing that the hot pink (NOT a color I can stomach) is that smoothly laminated memory foam -- maybe. If so, it might be more comfortable than it seems. (If not, I agree that it wouldn't be all that pleasant to sit on...)
But it's kind of fun and if the colors were better, I might try it out...
I'd rather have more shelf space.
Maybe nice in a room or reading space designated for a child.
If it were a different color (preferably just one) and deep enough that you could also sit on it regularly (I can't tell if it is or not from the photo) I think I'd like it. It'd be neat to use in front of a window. I'm hoping it's just really smoothly upholstered, because it really would be too uncomfortable if it isn't.
I have to agree with most of the people here. The first thing I thought was that this would look great in a kid's room.
I'm not a fan of hot pink. Cool concept though! Perhaps it should be padded. It looks like there was some ergonomic thought put in, but using a skeleton as a demo is concerning.
i like the idea, but it looks way too small to be comfortable for curling up.
Love the idea, but it needs to be executed better.
The idea is interesting, but it looks very uncomfortable.
