In the world of home decor, is there anything worth leaving alone? A few companies have delved into the personal "powder room" decor preferences of folks, offering designer toilet paper as an alternative to the plain old white tissue options.

Faced with many decorating decisions, such as whether to hang artwork of any value in the bathroom, choosing a toilet paper was never a task where aesthetics entered the equation. For me, it was always single roll vs. double, quilted vs. non-quilted. I'm not sure that my household is ready to add any complication to the matter.
However, as seen on If It's Hip, It's Here, there is apparently a market for novelty toilet paper. What's your take?

Do you think that this toilet tissue adds an element of fun to an otherwise serious room? Or is this a little over the top? What say you on the world of graphic imagery on your most personal of papers?

though some of the patterns are neat (dare we call this a "textile"?), I think this is a wate of resources on a product that must be disposable, and should therefore have a conservative footprint in its creation and its affect on the environment where it breaks down.
It's worth splurging a little for beauty and for lasting design - but this is gross. And I don't even need to know what it costs.
An idea worth what it whips.
This reminds me of Spaceballs: The Toilet Paper. Strange how back then, the very idea seemed so hilarious.
that is very small tp.
Yes it is disposable, but you would probably put it out when you have a party
It seems to me there's some outfit that will slap whoever's face you fancy on every sheet of a roll of tp. I wish I could remember the details.
I can see myself MAYBE putting out a roll with a red-nosed reindeer at Christmas and maybe some black bats or cats on orange backgroung at Halloween but otherwise I think plain white is just fine, thank you very much.
hilarious typo..(i think it was a typo)..what it whips..haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa..
this is a waste of resources!! also, I don't like the idea of wiping mg anything with paper full of dye and chemicals.
My mother used to buy santa TP for christmas when I was a kid. I loved it! It was silly and tacky but it made wiping feel so festive. lol! While the printed paper shown here does seem a little boojie if I ever have kids I'm totally getting Holiday TP.
Lame. You are flushing your money away.
Ridiculous (but I kind of want some).
There was lots TP and paper towels in colors and/or with designs in the 70s and maybe early 80s. Then it disappeared because of concerns about water pollution from the chemicals and dyes.
This is the stupidest product I have ever seen. Everyone should just get a bidet and be done with it.
Why???
Could you get more Kitsch? (Remember the definition includes the phrase "bad taste".)
I'm an advocate of eco-friendly disposables, as much as that isn't an oxymoron, so no prints or patterns.
Great for holidays only.
