Neither. It's just plain stupid. Reminds me of Lucy and Ethel in Paris, when Ricky and Fred tricked them into wearing feedbag hats and burlap dresses as the latest 'couture'. Of course, at the end of the episode, you see two 'swans' walking by wearing the same things, the ideas stolen, of course, à la today's 'star designers'....
This is hideous and exactly the type of thing that gives green design a bad name and causes people to not be open to green alternatives... sustainable design can be beautiful and doesn't have to look like a garbage made into something else.
It looks like something out of Beverly Hillbillies decor - or a tacky take on cabin decorating......
ugh.
And I bet it is top heavy.
I think it would look 10 times better if the handles were removed.
I prefer the colander clock on the linked website.

I love re-use but this doesn't work. Handle looks like a big bottle opener stuck on there.
