The Filtrexx GardenSoxx is a versatile planter, designed to be mobile and easy to use. The premise is to basically fill the GardenSoxx with a compost-based growing medium and place anywhere — rooftop, lawn edging or anywhere you want a garden.
The uses of Garden Soxx include no-till gardening, landscape edging, borders, raised beds, patio planters, window baskets or deck rails. They come in a variety of dimensions from a 2 foot long soxx, to a 100 tube of fabric. They can be used as living wall construction or a simple basket planter.

I think I saw this in one of my magazines. If not this exact product, it was something very similar, and I've considered using them in my yard, which is very, very rocky and chock full of tree roots that make it nearly impossible to dig. Of course, my idea was to just use burlap bags...
While the concept is interesting, it's basically just an expensive ($11 for the smallest size!) bag of soil. Much easier to use burlap or some other natural fabric to do the same thing. Re-using a natural cloth bag would be cheaper and more eco friendly.
