These have got to be one-designs. Spotted yesterday afternoon at Pilot Group's new offices in midtown, these guys are actually comfortable to sit in (they seem to flex), but they do make you a bit anxious.

I'm less anxious about sitting on them -- in which case I know exactly where they are -- than I am upright, mobile, not seeing the chairs, and walking into them.
More suitable for photo shoots and designer showhouses....
What!? They are interesting to look at but I don't think I would actually want to sit in one.

appears to be a homage of sorts to the Philippe Starck Louis Ghost Armchair in "crystal." I'd say it missed the mark.
These can make any sitter look fat.
Yeah, I don't think I'd feel very comfortable on one of these while wearing a short skirt.
I think someone would have to Windex off the fingerprints and/or leg marks between sitters.
I wouldn't sit in this chair if there was the potential for someone to walk behind me -- nobody's booty looks good squished and pressed on glass.
JonathanB, as someone who has walked into every piece of furniture I own at least twice, I hear you.
These chairs are ugly anyway.
I love them....i would pick them up for my Loft if i could find them somewhere....
LOVE THEM : )

I would want to see what would happen to these seats after a hot summer day seating. Ick!
I would be afraid of slipping out of them if I leaned back at all...
hey? i'm surprised at all the hateration - i love them!!
They're like an aquarium for your butt. Ugh.
I think they'd make very cool bedside tables!!
Gee, furniturefanatic, you seem to REALLY like the ghost chair... since you mention it in every comment...
