While the concept illustrations make these speakers look huge, they're actually designed to be desktop companions. Imagined by designer Kevin Boulton, the Dome Speaker is made of acrylic with a glossy finish and is mounted on two straight bars that allow you to adjust height by moving them up and down. Lights mounted on the back of the speakers pulse to the beat -- epileptics need not apply.

well, they are not ugly. But how they sound is important as well. These would likely need a subwoofer to present anything near a full sound spectrum.
this may or may not detract from its hotness.
hey
thanks for your comment on the speakers, nice to see work moving around on the internet. These speakers were an early concept and have developed a new set with a sub . if you would like to see some of my other work, www.coroflot.com is the place where i hold my work. also http://ww.wix.com/nhlkev/Kevin-Boulton.
Thanks very much for the feedback
