Uh, that looks suspiciously like Turkey Hill to me...
I think it's a GREAT idea. However, I didn't read the link.... it costs $10,000?? Um, no. I have better things to spend my money on. BUT, I DO think it'd be awesome to have a mini version of our house. (a small 50's Cape....NOT the mansion in the picture!)
I'm an architect. My 7 years of design school piad off -- I'll make one myself :)
not that it makes the 10,000 dollars more reasonable, but I am pretty sure that is Lincoln's home in Springfield, IL. I spent a lot of time there on school field trips. it kind of looks like a mansion, but that is just careful external design. the rooms are actually pretty small and the stairs and doorways aren't really built for a tall person.
