We first got a peak peek at Joshua Longo's designs at BKLYN Designs 2007. Monsters are a central theme to his work and we're especially fond of the brushed woven wool and cashmere upholstery that resembles a monster's scales...

actually they make me think of fishnet stockings.. maybe a closer look..
i really dig this. it kind of reminds me of "Where the Wild Things Are." i think i'd like it even more in a nice charcoal.
oh i love it!
ehhh...
i don't know if i'd buy it
i LOVE the fabric, but don't actually like that kind of chair. i'd prefer to see it on something more modern, but that's just me. it would also be great to see it sized in children's furniture, just because closertotheocean was right, it does remind me of "Where the Wild Things Are".
It would be pretty swell if the chair had claw and ball feet.
It would look great if there was a monster's face on the chair back.
Sorry... I have to -
Peak = the tip of a mountain top
Peek = a quick look
Love the fabric. Don't love it on that chair.
think of the dust collecting in the corners of that white fabric- ick! I admit I might love this concept in a small kids chair in a different color.
If you didn't know about the construction of the chair, nothing about it says "monster". It needs more interesting feet and possibly an arm treatment.
