We'll admit it, we haven't seen these color bars on a TV since the 80s, but it sure does bring back memories. Our most traumatizing recollection was while watching Silver Spoons after school. The TV screen suddenly switched to these bars and our chair (on wheels) moved across the room during the first few seconds of the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake. What would Ricky Shroeder do?
