Yeah, we know the Pleasurecraft isn't exactly a home decor item, but it's certainly a most inviting and comfy looking creation we'd imagine would make for maximum canoodlin' and relaxation opportunities, whether it be on a pond or sitting inside your living room. Sort of like the house boat concept, but miniaturized into just one room. If we had the space, we think we'd consider purchasing an old salvaged row boat to emulate the same idea in a living room or den...

And yes, that waterwheel component on the ">Pleasurecraft drives the turntable to serenade you both while you laze down the Suwannee River...or Echo Park pond.
If the Pleasurecraft isn't plush enough for you, there's always David Trubridge's Float indoor/outdoor boat bed, which looks straight out of an Enya video (sail away, sail away, sail away~). Pair either up with a boat shaped bath tub and you can set sail whether on land or water.

only if it actually went out on the water. otherwise it's just a boat-shaped couch/bed, which is mucho depressing.

I don't know....this is bringing me back to my childhood. I remember having something like this in my preschool or kindergarten classroom
^^minus the champagne, of course! (though sometimes I wonder if the teacher had a little something stashed to deal with us rugrats!)
No, no, no. It would take too much space and look too gimmicky.
Would totally dig it in a classroom though!
The indoor/outdoor bed... wow!
Pablo Neruda was terrified of travelling by boat, and he had a boat stationed in his backyard, he would invite friends to it, they'd drink, they'd imagine they were travelling and then they would come out, drunk and merry, these pieces remind me of that :)
Kind of a Gilligan's Island fetish renactment,
in a good way :-)
This would be perfect on the porch of the beach house my dad's extended family would all rent for a week in the summer. In my apartment, even if I had the space? Nah
The good part (being outside on the river in the fresh air) is lost. What's the point?
Not even if I had room for it.
Hott- duh.
I am planning on having something like this made...but I want it to hang from the ceiling. I saw one in a movie, but can't remember what the movie was. Love it! I don't think it's hot. I just think it's magical.
