Bleh. I like Ralph Lauren pretty much across the board, both clothes and decor, but this doesn't do it for me.

I dunno. This kind of reminds me of thrift store chic. Which is fine - I'm all about thrift store chic! (Though not necessarily done like this.) But I'll bet you can get the look much cheaper by going to an actual thrift store.

I quite like it! Especially the car and the bedroom lamp. Although, I agree he probably should get himself a Roomba...

This doesn't strike me as thrift store chic so much as very, very studied waspy-beachy casual. I hate it, probably because I find the studied nantucket prep-school casual so irritating (having gone to prep school myself).

I like it. Looks similar to my place - except i don't have throw pillows, and they definitely wouldn't look like that, and I don't like the couch - but I'm IN college.
I like a lot of different styles. I wouldn't BUY this kind of stuff - it looks like someone did what they could with what they had. So, I guess, given that you are meant to buy everything, I don't like it. Again, it's not the style that bothers me - it's like paying money for torn jeans - just silly.

Can't say that the video inspired anything in me other than the desire to frolick by the sea-side. I agree that this look could be replicated for less money with pottery barn, and a good dose of heirlooms/thrift store gems.
