This isn't new is it? Its a famous designer piece from the 60s if I'm not mistaken ....
Looks dirty!
how do you get out of it?
Most of these "figurative" things tend to seem at least a tad creepy. I've seen very few that don't.
OMG! we had two of those in red in our house when I was growing up. They were the funnest chairs to sit in. I loved them, and I haven't seen them in ages. They're insanely comfy (we had them in front of the TV in our den), and if you rock backwards forcefully (ie you're not supposed to do this, especially with designer furniture, but who cares when you're a kid), the chair will rock with you and then come right back up. wow. thanks for the flashback.
Difficult to get out of after a few cocktails.
I just think they're kind of silly, though I could see the appeal for kids.
KTG - Kicked in the "nards"?!?!! LOL I think they might look great in a den / home theater / play room.
They used to have these chairs in the kids section of the local library where I grew up.
It is from '68..an Oliver Mourgue Bouloum sofa. Actually quite comfortable to lounge in. A bit difficult to move around the home and would require 'low' pieces to accompany but very fun.
