As visceral creatures, it's rare that we genuinely can't decide how we feel about a specific object. It's usually an immediate yay or nay. We've been playing with the idea of adding more ceiling lights to our life and stumbled across this potential chandelier. Part of us thinks it's novel, fun, and alluring and in the right environment (e.g. a spare white space) it could be a great design element but another part of us...
Thinks it's unruly and cluttered and just plain unattractive. In light of our indecisive opinion, we're curious about your reaction to the chandelier.

I like it! It's sculptural and different! If I needed a pendant light in certain kinds of rooms, I'd buy it. (I think it's too dark and strong for my dining room, which is small, but I can see it in a a high ceilinged living room hanging over an end table, or some such use...)

I'm with SherryBinNJ. I think it is sculptural and different and I really do like it. For the space this would be right for, it would be delicious. I think the person who found it Home Depot-ish might not be a fan of the actual shape of the globes, themselves, and I might kind of agree. I almost want those to go ahead and be... I don't know... maybe rounder or something.
Basically, I like it, though.
I dont think its horrible, but I'm not a fan.
It is simple and has movement that keeps the eye moving around its curves. Not too big and the simple shape of the lights is in tune with the movement of the rings. I notice that people are really divided on this one. Good to know that almost half of viewers think this is attractive. I've seen some monstrosities on this sight passing for chandeliers and this is simple smart and modern. I would like it just a tad thinner so the eye can focus on the movements of its parts. Plus a choice of colors, light and dark that would reflect the light hitting it.
I like it and in the right space it could really be a focus.. the lamp shades are a bit cheap looking..
Okay - based on the earlier comments, it is clearly polarizing. But the asymmetry is awesome, there is no typical wiring housing (how did they wire it?), and it has to be extremely difficult to make. Awesome.
