Love the industrial look.
I love this. Seems like you could reproduce this yourself quite easily too, and in so many other variations.
Looks like something Grandpa cobbled together in his workshop one weekend out of a tin can and some spare parts...
...and the following month, Pottery Barn featured it in their catalog for $129 shipping.
I could see an idea like this working, but not as executed. The red clamp is too literal. And the lamp itself would look better in a satin/matte black powdercoat, which is still "industrial" but would take it up a peg.
On a positive note, I do really like the shape of the lamp arm.
It's perfectly charming, granted, I've never seen a tin can that shape. it would be interesting to use something else for the shade, perhaps a POM wonderful bottle.
