Yes, they will be cliched and dumb, in less than a year. And good luck with selling the place; I don't think too many people will be clamoring for a kitchen with tacky tiles.
Too kitschy for my taste.
Tattoos seem to be so popular these days that I think the whole 'counterculture' effect intended by these just isn't there anymore. Hate to be a downer, but they do seem kind of trite...
I have full sleeves, a chest and back piece and much of my legs tattooed, mainly traditional work. I find tattoo design stuff tacky and cliche for too many reasons to mention.
I love them for the bathroom!!
Fun in a '50s theme kitchen. I could see it working really well with a checkerboard floor and lots of white diluting an aqua/red theme.
I like the koi too.
I don't worry about resale. In the meantime, I have to live there.
Like rebeldress, I also have a ton of tattoos and find most tattoo design/decor stuff beyond hideous. Why? Because drawing for tattoos requires specific technical skill and precision and most talented tattooers are busy making tattoos, not designing tiles. In the featured product of this post, the drawings are just plain poor.

Totally cute! But will they be cliche and dumb in a year?
I'd like to see this idea executed with better designs as opposed to rockabilly tattoos.
I like the koi. I hope they are removable, so if the design doesn't wear well, it can go!
Funny you should post this, I just discovered this blog for amusement :

Here are some exceptions:

I voted hot because I like the general idea, but these particular designs aren't something I would consider in my kitchen.
I voted hot, but with the condition that these tatoo tiles be used like real tattoo: randomly and sparsely.
Badass.
I know some djs and musicians who have a "rock" themed decor and this would be a great way to bring that into the kitch!
I really hate that color scheme... so much. Black, white, red. AHHHH!
most tattoos are soooo ugly- these included
These are so cute. Love em.
