THAT Salton Cart was a wedding present to my wife and me 40 years ago; it has served us quite well AT LEAST every year at Thanksgiving when we have hosted 40-60 guests for 40 years this month.
Please don't make fun of that Cart, it is wonderful for heating turkey, keeping platters warm, and many other related uses.
During the year it serves as a place to store stuff!
Absolutely mine still works just fine. I use it on holidays. Just used it Thanksgiving & will use it at Xmas time. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I have the tray alone (not the cart). My mother got in in about 1963, and I used it this weekend. It is wonderful.
I bought my cart last year for $30 on Craigslist Vancouver :) The lady even dropped it off at my work....I am in love with my cart!! It works really well and I end up collecting 3 more Salton Trays after.
