Hot or Not? Water Saving Fish Tank Toilet

Hot or Not? Water Saving Fish Tank Toilet

This low-flow toilet from China doubles as an aquarium! (Don't worry, the fish don't get flushed down the drain). Great for small spaces where having a pet might otherwise take up too much room.

Survey after the jump.

The aquarium toilet has three separate tanks - one for water flowing in, one for water flowing out, and a third for fish and underwater plants, keeping them isolated from any plumbing function. Another green point is that the LED device that lights the fish tank can also be used instead of bathroom lighting, cutting electricity bills.

The firm behind the toilets say they are ideal for Chinese families seeking company for their only children, but without the room for a stand-alone fish tank or bigger pet.
