It's silly but it's so cute! It totally made me smile. And I agree with the other two commenters, it would ROCK in an ice cream shop. Maybe my breakfast room, since I'm kind of headed toward an ice cream parlor look.

I can see this in a kid's room, as long as it is high enough that the kid won't be tempted to touch the bulb.

Otherwise, a nice row of them over the bar in a rumpus room.

I don't think I could stand having an uncovered light in my house, but I had to rate it hot because of it's use of CFL. Great idea, but I need lampshades! :)
