This yellow micro-fiber chair is a brand new design from Kenneth Cobonpue. The chair is completely different from his other designs - which we've admired at Muleh (in DC). We think the bloom chair is a bold, statement piece that could liven up any room. Do you like it? Survey below the jump...

I'd like it better if it were the color of a California Poppy...
...but it's still not something I'd have in my home.
Why do I keep envisioning a baby in the middle of the chair!
I suspect it's too much exposure to Anne Geddes product, NoraL.
it looks like a butthole! i'll pass. love the color though :)
Well, I wouldn't want one, which means it's cool.
Trying too hard.
maybe if you were an opium-smoking caterpillar...
I think it would look better in a room- it looks weird in the photo because it's all by itself.
I like the seat, hate the base.
It would feel like I'm being swallowed up by one of those flesh eating plants. Or is that from a comic book or something?
Oh thank god I'm not the only pervy one.
Little Shop of Horrors, anyone?
female anatomy
The base looks like a saarinen inspired afterthough...
The chair and the base have no relation to each other, and both are hideous.
I'm getting a strong georgia o'keefe vibe...
I think this would look great in the right context. I could image this in a sparsley furnished room and I think this would be an interesting focal point.
Far too reminiscent of female genitalia.
In the right setting...sure. Looks comfy. Reminds me of a papasan chair.
rgn,
I first read that comment as "in a parsley furnished room"! lol
i am just imaginaing all the dirt/dust/cat hair that would get trapped in all those folds! the horror!
I love this chair and all its femininity! I agree with the first comment that it would be great in California poppy. I could see it at a hip spa or even a women's boutique.
That's not a bloom, it's a bum.
leathery vagina
I loathe microfiber to no end, but this is fantastic. Everyone who thinks this looks like a 'gina is nuts. If anything, it looks like some sort of coral, or a flower. Or, in this color, lettuce. Anyways, I think this is a wonderful and strong piece! Love love love it
Hmmm...sitting in a giant hoo-ha thinking Freudian thoughts...
Cosmotosis, why would I want a giant lettuce chair?
I sat on this chair in Paris and its super comfy. Beautiful piece!!! There was a crowd around it at the exhibition. I can attest that having the chair in a room was like having a piece of the garden indoors. The scale is just right too.
To everyone who thinks about genitalia and butts, get a life!
