Hot or Not? Yellow Pages Booster Seat

We have to admit to getting a chuckle out of the idea of whipping out this lightweight booster seat at restaurants. How about you?

Made of washable pre-formed foam rubber and weighing just 11.2 ounces, this seat -- called Boost! -- is designed for ages 3 and up.

We have one, which we keep at our house for our girl. She also uses it as a floor seat. Lots nicer to look at than your average plastic stool or booster.

Funny. . .but not sure I would buy it.

I get annoying phone books for free -> booster seat. I don't see myself buying a landfill item like this.

I've always thought this was a funny and quirky item. I would not buy it for myself but if I got it as a gift I would not return it either. It's a sign of the times too...Kids (even our smart little 3 yr olds) will ask "What IS a phone book anyway?" With the internet and 411, who needs a real phone book anymore anyway?! I think this item should not be placed in landfills (or recycled) in some areas, but kept as a memento of 20th century times...

If I had a restaurant I would provide these...funny!
