It's true that in our culture, hot pink carries connotations of femininity and glamour, but keep in mind that this is only a cultural construct dating to less than 100 years ago! There is no reason that girls should have all the fun!

Lately, hot pink has been reclaimed from the domain of New Wave pop album covers and poodle nailpolish, and is now holding its own against both other deeply saturated colors and as a bold accent against neutral tones. Here is an inspiration gallery that reveals the power of pink.

The second pic is one of my all time favorite bedroom inspirations. Though oddly enough the only thing I don't care for is the pink.
Love the hot pink! I am trying to find a very small hot pink chandelier. Not sure if it exists, but maybe someone out there has seen one?

Consider spray painting a thrift find.
Ahhh pink... I used to hate pink... until I started loving it. I wear it in warmer shades and it's so flattering to my brown skin. (Come to think of it, I think Jennifer Lopez inspired me to try that, lol). In rooms I like it either in muted, mauvish shades or in hot fuchsia tones. I love it in the more regal vignettes here, #1, 2, 3, 5, 6.
I love the third and sixth photos.
My heart is broken! I need that headboard!
The fifth picture is an all-time favorite by me. I'd kill to archieve that look in my home... (well, maybe not kill, but hurting my banker a little would be totally ok).
I love that color so much, I painted the door to my bathroom, and have been looking for things to paint with the leftover paint. Gorgeous color !
1,3,6 for me. That headboard is amazing.
LOVE hot pink accents! Here's a photo of our recent bathroom renovation. I found these great patterned hot pink towels at Bloomingdales. http://www.flickr.com/photos/mviamontes/5462996585/in/photostream
Ha! Our fuchsia bean bag chair arrived in the mail today.
Love the ninth picture...
Love the pink egg chair and the foot of bed seating with the poodle on it. The curtains in pic #5 are fantastic!
I have several fuschia home accessories accents throughout my home, brightens up what is primarily a black & white interior. Jonathon Adler made some fuscia lacquer items that were really fantastic. I've been wishing my pale pink food processor and retro toaster (both bought on discount) were fuschia.
I NEED that headboard. omg.
i love the second pic. i noticed it at first for its great use of a huge chevron rug (http://www.happyasannie.com/2011/04/chevron-rugs/) but the headboard is pretty fabulous too.
i have a pink vintage chair
