Definitely not a color for the faint-hearted. This girly hue packs a powerful punch even in limited doses. As breast cancer awareness month and the Fall Color contest wind to a close, we thought we'd share some of the bolder pink applications from our inspiration files...
Like its bright yellow, orange, and green counterparts, pink delivers a loud statement regardless of its scope.
• 1. I keep expecting to dislike this picture, as I think spiral staircases are gorgeous in their own right, however I can't help but love the bold contrast.
• 2., 3. Hot pink seems all the more saturated when used in conjunction with a deep hue like navy blue or charcoal gray.
• 4.-8. My favorite use is in small touches in otherwise neutral rooms. The powerful color instantly updates a space, and can be switched out when your mood calls for a calmer scheme.
Could you live with pink?

I wish my living room was the 3rd picture! My husband disagrees...........
I'm usually not a fan of bubble gum pink, but that staircase is some kind of awesome.
On a random note, what's up with masked-men paintings in the 7th pic? Maybe they're supposed to be ninjas, but I just keep seeing guys who break into houses and rape women... a little unsettling for a living room.
i was going to say the same about the "guys" prints...
I do have to say i love both tables on the third and seventh pic.... that's something i would definitely live with...
those can't be ninjas.... no one sees ninjas!
not to mention, ninjas are usually more sleek and stylish... those are definitely ski-mask creepers!
Anybody know anything about that curved, wicker-y chair in the sixth photo??
I agree... third picture is great...
Is #7 actually someone's home or is this a tasteless joke by an interior decorator?
I agree with previous comments, it is disturbing.
I can only stand pink in small doses, so I love 4 and like 5 and 8.
i love hot pink and use it as an accent colour in my apartment. i have a teeny "hallway" that i did a graphic paint job on using pink and a few other small accessories sprinkled around. it definitely packs a punch and i love the feminine feel.
i completely love the pink splotches and the pink stairs (but neither of the glossy tables).
the masked men are great! i actually found them amusing, not threatening. they seem more like random dudes holding up a convenience store or something. just give them the money and nobody gets hurt!
That pink staircase just makes me smile!
Go freaking figure I decide to paint my walls navy blue but keep my random hot pink ikea office chair in there... and now a similar look is featured on here! So I obviously like the look ;) but mine was more "I'm stuck with the pink as a mis-matched item" than by choosing it specifically to go in a room.
Does anybody know where the electric pink table in #3 is from? LOVE IT!
