This does not immediately jump out as a media storage solution but after a closer look this would actually work quite nicely. The hotel box is a linen paper and cardboard box that can be stacked horizontally and vertically up to 10 feet high. The open ended design would allow for cable routing through the back while providing a visually interesting housing for each individual component.

The best part? If you want to add another component to your home theater setup all you need to do is pick up another box and it it to the stack.
