The wall (or wallpaper) mural trend has held strong in boutique hotels. Although the bedroom might not be the first place you'd think about trying a wall-to-wall image, pictures that have depth and seem to recede can make a small room feel bigger, while pictures with flat patterns can create a dramatic focal point. Here are 10 examples.

Shaw's Original Fir...
Normally I'd dislike this, but I really like picture 3.
Number 4 is Jersey Shore in Miami!
I can't help but think that most of these will be big regrets in a few years.
The Chelsea Indigo in NYC has some really cool wall art too. They have full wall mural prints of a girl in the rain with an umbrella - very pretty.
#8 is hysterical. I don't think I'd stop giggling if I had to stay in that room.
3 & 5 - wow.
Wow, the Hotel Particulier Montmartre is dreamy and fantastic. The lighting, both in the photo and the room itself, really enhances the secondary and tertiary colors.
I don't think i would have a problem sleeping in any of those rooms. I am especially intrigued by the bookcase wallpapers... does anyone know where i could get that or better still a fabric version there of?
