I love houndstooth, but I have to say: I temporarily "papered" a small accent wall with it (in a rental), and could only live with it for about a month. In such a big dose it felt more cutesy cottage than dapper gent.
If I could fill a whole wall with houndstooth wallpaper I totally would!! I wanted to do wainscotting in an entire room and have wainscoting in the inside panel. I absolutely love it! I'm still looking for the perfect accent chair with houndstooth fabric on it.
