Name: Delia (AKA Martha Stalwart) & Jeff
Location: Brooklyn, New York
We just moved from Los Angeles to New York and had a tough time finding a place that did not make us feel trapped. We found this old, rundown loft space that people used to use as a studio for this and that. We knew it would take a LOT of work (especially given that it is a rental) but we wanted space so we took it.
It has only been a few months but we have transformed this place into a home on a tight budget.
For more pictures and details of Jeff & Delia's transformed loft see Delia's blog post MarthaStalwart | The Moment You've All Been Waiting For.
Thanks Delia & Jeff!

Love it. It's really fun, yet grown-up. Thanks for sharing.
Amazing space! Looks like we're neighbors (2 blocks away).
Wondering how you're coping with keeping the apartment heated.
I'm gaga for that wallpaper. FAB.
Your place is totally fantastic, but I don't think I could handle staying in a guestroom that's only a curtain away from the master bedroom.
Dang! There went my invitation... :D
neat place! tell me about those prints above your dining room table. love them.
I like this. I had a raw space like this in downtown LA that I fixed up. Even though this and mine were rentals, there is something very satisfying about transforming a space on your own and having such a wonderful impact on the feng shui of the space. You did good!
marvelous! visually entertaining and must be amazing to entertain and just live in! great job guys!
wow - love this....everything about it! looks like a great entertaining space....thanks for the inspiration :)
Most exciting wallpaper with gold hares, snakes and briars.
Where did you find it?
Very urban cool, with a touch of edgy country...the wallpaper is great.
This is cool. Artistic and creative, very hip and LA but in a very good way.
Just bursting with character. Love it!
Great wallpaper. Its from Anthropologie right?
Love, Love, Love! This is the sort of cool, gritty place I always imagined myself living in as an adult:) One day...
AH! I'm so excited because this is my apartment and I didn't submit it, a friend did! How fun to scroll through one of my favorite blogs only to find myself on it. Best day ever.
Here are answers to the questions:
We have a large industrial gas heater that is loud but also very warm and cheap. :-)
Both wallpapers are from Anthropologie.
The prints above the dining room table are deadstock and uncut vintage advertising. You can get them here: http://shinegallery.com/mix.html
Thanks so much and we are happy you guys like it!
thank you, dihouser, I read further into your blog and already ordered the golden hares. Enjoyed the tour!
You guys did such a fantastic makeover to what was a pretty bad wreck. Your choices of decor and homegoods are right on...well-edited, fresh and witty....they are fantastic representation of your creativity, sensibility, and artistic quirkiness.
I cant believe these are the creative perspectives of a couple of post Angels??
You should ask AT to use their pics for your blog. The blog is wonderful and chock-full-of awesome ideas but the pics dont do the place justice.
The space looks awesome. I use to live their a few months ago and I can tell you it has majorly transformed. We use to refinish furniture in the front of the space and live in the back. The roof is were it's at. Can't wait to see what you do with your garden. We had great succes with it. I left you some soil up their. Don't tell Mark. Best of luck and great job.

Thanks Mike! We were hoping we would run into you at some point to show you guys what we had done. Swing by anytime!
Love the dining room art, the bathroom mirror, and that fabulous wallpaper!

And thanks!
Love this space! Where is the dining area chandelier from? Thanks
The overall space is so well curated and each vignette is so well put together as well. Great execution of your style!
Very cute. You've really transformed the space, it looks wonderful. Lots of personality in a space that was most definitely an industrial box before. And the style is not over the top cutesy like some that I see go with a similar look, but its still creative and hip.
eh
great space! who did those red yarn art pieces? pretty rad.
Thanks everyone! The dining room lights are from Ikea, and the red yarn art pieces are mine. I went through a folk art string phase and the two in the apartment are the ones that I didn't sell :-)
Really alot of fun and great use of color. This is the kind of space you want to come home to.
Love it!! Really fun and vibrant! And I LOVE the raw brick walls!!! Wow!
