I bought my first home a couple years ago in the city that I've loved since I was little. Growing up I used to visit my aunt here and knew from the time I was 8 that this is where I belong. To own a home here is a dream come true.

It's a place where I can display the pieces that I've collected on trips that I've taken, mementos from my family's past and even little notes and cards that I receive from my loved ones. This house has been a labor of love. My best friend and I painted the entire thing, from top to bottom, just ourselves. My mom and I have made all of the curtains, headboards and pillows. I have been able to take what I've learned about vignettes and store display from the Gap where I've worked for the past 11 years and use it here to create a space which my friends call "heaven".
