Odd Mix. Stories are all over the place this week—nothing too fascinating. Design blogs are discussed in Room to Improve and Maxwell is quoted...

- Democratic Lawmakers under the same roof: Taking Power, Sharing Cereal. Yawn.

- Funerary art trends: In Death as in Life, a Personalized Space. Maybe we've been watching to many episodes of Six Feet Under lately—we found this interesting—but not fully developed. We want to know more about the Eva Ziesel urn!

- A Boston townhouse with 14,000 books: A House Built Around a Tower of Books. The pictures don't live up to the hype. Needs more pictures!

- Frost Date roulette: Is It Spring? Winter? What’s a Flower to Think? Did you know that the New York Botanical Garden has a "Global Warming Garden" where they purposely plant less-than hardy plants?
- Room to Improve: When shopping online, I often see newsletters or blogs with design advice. Are any worth reading? Maxwell is quoted in this interesting (but brief) look at design blog trends.

- Reclaimed wood: Personal Shopper.
