Proudest DIY: I made the quilt and pillows in the bedroom photo and also the art on the wall behind the bed.
Biggest Indulgence with respect to my home: Stickley dining room table and chairs - they are wonderful for big or small dinner parties.

I can tell you guys have great personalities, and that makes this house a real treat to view. It's uncontrived and true to its 1930s roots. And while the clowns scare me, the wood piece in the living room is a real show-stopper and totally makes up for them. Great job all around!

Lovely, interesting art. My first question: Why didn't this house win? Second, I applaud you for not falling into the "But is it a Haver?" mentality. There's Baragan, loft, eclectic and sophisticated, all rolled into one. But being a minimalist, I would edit the furniture a bit.
