Favorite element: hanging wood sculpture in living room by artist Fred Rose. Biggest Challenge in designing my home: this house was quite a fixer-upper and has taken a lot of work. What friends Say about my home: They like to come over for atmospheric dinner parties.

Proudest DIY: I made the quilt and pillows in the bedroom photo and also the art on the wall behind the bed. Biggest Indulgence with respect to my home: Stickley dining room table and chairs - they are wonderful for big or small dinner parties. Best Advice given or received: Make sure to have comfortable furniture. atlafavhousetours08.jpg
