Ever since I visited Alison & Jeff's Eclectic Williamsburg Railroad earlier this year I've been slightly obsessed with vintage globes. I'm dying for one that dates to 1922 when our home was built, and in my search I've located a number of beautiful vintage globes from Etsy sellers. Perhaps you want to bring a little of Alison and Jeff's style into your home as well? Read on for details and pricing.

I, too, yearn for vintage globes. I did have recent good luck at an estate sale - a vintage moon globe for $2. How cool is that? Now if I could just find one of those black ocean ones like I grew up with (e.g. 4 and 7), I'd be really happy.
I got a really nice vintage globe night light/lamp for my sons' room. It is beautiful.
I recently inherited a brass based vintage globe from my father. I remember always thinking how cool it was when I was a kid. It didn't look like the globes at school because it was in these rich earthy colors vs bright primary colors. I couldn't tell you the year but it is certainly older than I am. It's such an interesting and classic piece, if only I can find a place to properly display it!
