Name: Jeannie & Edwin
Location: Downtown Los Angeles
Size: 1602 Square Feet
Years lived in: 1 year
Our style: Classic Modern meets Penthouse Suite
Inspiration: Boutique Hotels, Elle Dcor and Dwell Magazines
Biggest Challenge in designing my home: The open floor plan required creative solutions to space planning.
What friends Say about my home: They admire our view and say that the place is fancy and modern, yet comfortable and relaxing
Biggest Embarrassment in my home: In the beginning, Edwin tried to hang a very heavy Pablo light on a wall that buckled. He is terrible at patching walls and continues to procrastinate on fixing it Another is our office area because it keeps getting rearranged and currently is serving as a dumping ground, hence the lack of photo
Proudest DIY: 8 hours of patient drilling through thick concrete ceilings and at one point hitting rebar to put up support brackets for the Falkner and Moooi pendant lights.
Biggest Indulgence with respect to my home: The loft itself we will be paying it for a loooong time
Dream Source for stuff: We would love to raid the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica.
