A ceiling fit for a king. When we arrived this morning on 22nd street, we were impressed that noticeable progress was being made. They seem to have dug themselves out of all the garbage and dust that had been taking over and getting down to making things start to shine.
This week the ceiling is being finished, which means that the beams had all the nails pulled out of them, been planed down on all three sides, and are now being given two coats of polyurethane to seal them. This is painful, over-your-head work, but the result of exposing these old beams is worth it. They glow like honey.
This is the schedule for next week:
Sound isolation & all dry wall finished
Super efficient AC system installed
Will they finish all this? We shall see... MGR
