
The different metallic finishes are an instant improvement over plastic but it is the floating effect that really makes the design. With the hole in the desk no longer visible, the wires simply appear from underneath. A little bit of thought and care in running the wires to the desktop components and you should be able to achieve a nice organized workspace.

I think I'd have to see it in action, it looks too distracting to me, typing typing TPS reports typing "ooh shiny object."
For $34 a piece I think I'll just stick with the ugly plastic grommets. By the time I can justify the cost of that little guy I think I can afford a desk that has a more elegant solution than a simple hole in the top.
