Q: I recently purchased a set of four vintage chairs. I adore the diversity of materials — the wood, metal and leather — and the retro charm. However, I am struggling to find a dining table to update the vintage set. Should I stick with the theme and hunt down a retro table? Or should I pair it with something unexpected and simple, like a parsons dining table?

These are lovely! I'm not sure of your overall aesthetic, other than what's in the background of the picture above, but I could see these with a simple black table with Parsons-esque lines. Definitely something sleek and simple.
Great find! I can see these with something like this: http://www.modernfurnitureny.com/modern-brown-high-gloss-lacquer-finish-round-dining-table-p-25811.html
Yes--a Parson's table would be perfect.
Recover chair / seat in a modern fabric & use a wooden round table!
I would recommend a rectangular, modern glass table to keep focus on those cool chairs. Maybe even smoked glass.
I agree with the round table comments...if you have the space. I think since the backs are rounded they would fit nicely around when you slide them in. Cool find! I hope you send an update!!
the chairs are super retro, so I would definitely suggest balancing them out with a table with a modern flair. Someone here suggested a glass table, which I totally agree with, and I would recommend a rectangular table.
I like these. I'd pair them, as-is, with a simple Saarinen Table (white).
I would go with a white or black saarinen...I think burke or chromecraft made a smoky black tulip table that I see pretty cheap on clist sometimes...or maybe go industrial with a tolix table in white with some distressing
These are awesome! I'd go for contrast instead of complement, like you suggested with the Parsons table. There's always a Saarinen, or something like a Eames dining table. I think my favorite option is a Noguchi Cyclone Table (many reproductions available). I think it would play well with the metal in the chair.
