Q: I've never been a fast or efficient typist, especially since switching over to a new keyboard with the thinner and lower keys recently (my son said to call them "chiclets"). Is there any instructional aids or tips to help me improve my typing skills you can recommend?

Editor: Type Fu (above) is an app for OS X, Chrome OS, and Chrome users designed to help teach touch typing or improve current skills with feedback in accuracy, speed, and time parameters. $9.99

A budget conscious option: TypingWeb.com, a free online browser-based system designed for all ages and skill levels. There's also Typing Trainer for Windows users, which claims their software can boost typing efficiency in just 45 minutes with a free download.

Leave any additional suggestions for Clara's typing inquiry in the comments below - thanks!
