Q: I'm renting, and I have bad exhaust smells coming into my top floor brownstone apartment. These are gas type exhaust smells, smoke smells and sewage smells. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this problem? I am willing to pay out of my own pocket, since I understand how brownstone "management" works. I just need to know how I should proceed: a plumber? a home inspector?
